The projecting blade on this right-hand spinning propeller spins from top to bottom and from left to right. When the blades slide downhill, it pushes water down and back, similar to how your hand pushes water down and back when swimming. Water flows behind the created gaps caused by the rotation of the propeller. It develops a pressure difference between the blade's two sides, with positive pressure underwater and a pushing effect as negative pressure on the top side. As the engine rotates the propeller, this motion occurs on all blades. As a result, the propeller is simultaneously pulling and pushing through the water.
