These Bow Eyes can be added or replaced with a tie-down point on the bow or stern of your boat. It has a 2,500-pound breaking strength and a die-cast zinc head with galvanized shaft for freshwater use. A 3/8"-5 UNC threads with washer and nuts included. Chrome zinc plating improves the surface's hardness and durability, prevents corrosion, and makes it easier to clean. Degreasing a surface to clean it and remove previous accumulation is part of the procedure. To ensure optimal adhesion, some substrates or surface metals must be pretreated.
